I cancelled my subscription in Jan... they fraudulently charged my card for 6 months, they are thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM... they dont answer emails, TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS
I really like coding with Codecademy Pro. I did a lot of Python courses which I now utilize in my work as System Engineer. I hope that eventually I can become a Software Engineer in the near future. Your courses help me a lot with that. I am now also focusing on Web Development. I really enjoy working with HTML5/CCS3/JavaScript and consider useful skills next to my Python knowledge.

I used the free test but it wasnt possible to cancel now I pay a lot of money as a student
This is the best platform to learn coding (amongst other technical skills) I have ever come across.
Really advisable for both beginners and more expert techies.
They explain everything step by step and even if you are still stuck, they will help you again.
They have nice formats for easy reading too.
I appreciate the format and screen display which show the lesson, actions, and results on the same screen plus at the end of each lesson we can navigate to a forum with questions and conversations that directly relate to the lesson, which often adds further clarity to each specific lesson. I am enjoying coding way more than I expected I would!
This website is the BEST coding website out there. Its free programs are just too good.
I just have started the Data Science Path, but I am loving this experience! Codecademy way is easy to understand and I am not feeling lost, even though I never had contact with coding before.
I signed up for the pro version of Codeacademy, and after starting the Javascript section I noticed that my code was not running anymore for their exercises. When trying out courses on their website, I noticed that my screen would start freezing up. It may seem good at first, but after a while their website starts moving slow and sticking. You can try other free resources to learn instead. Do your research because others have said the same thing.

I do like it overall, but at times the instructions are either too specific or too vague.
In college, I dreaded coding and was convinced that it's of no use to a mechanical engineer. But, in my opinion, that dread was primarily because of the way I was introduced to the world of coding. Major theory, numerous books and lack of simple explanations.
But Codecademy makes coding & writing logic so much fun that even a beginner like me is now hooked to this learning to code platform.
Although, it's a long road ahead, but a good start never hurts :).
Overall I think the content and value provided is very good. The reason for my 3 star review is because the site has been down a number of times while I'm trying to study. Very ironic that a site like this would have technical issues. I work full time so have very limited time to study, so it's very frustrating when I'm paying for a service that I'm not able to use.
